Silverstein H10T Original T Ligature Overview
The Silverstein H10T Original T Ligature is handmade piece by piece using the finest materials. Suitable for a medium tenor mouthpiece, this ligature is a tool to discover an entirely new sound from your instrument. Silverstein's string ligatures feature cutting edge design. A highly durable, non-elastic cord ensures a secure fit and minimal contact to maximise reed vibration. A state of the art tension adjustment system and fine tuners give you precise control over your sound and adaptability for any reed type. The cryogenic process used in production increases essential harmonics, strengthens overtone partials and makes it easy for you to produce a rich, full clear sound every time you play.

The new and advanced Fine Tuners give you extraordinary control and flexibility due to how the ligature responds to the vibrations of the reed, which tunes the focus of your sound. This means that you can adjust your sound to perfectly accentuate the music you play at any time.
Richer and Fuller Sound
The reed is much more free moving as Silverstein ligatures have much more defined harmonic partials, which allows a richer and fuller sound.
Sound Adjustment Screw
The main screw can convert turning torque to pushing force due to a particular mechanism. This means that by tightening less the sound gets darker and the reed vibrates more. It also compensates thickness of a reed. Tightening more makes the reed sound like a thicker reed, whereas tightening less makes the reed sound like a thinner reed.
Interspersed Cord with a Refined Strand
This Silverstein H10T Ligature features a thinner thread for even less contact and pressure with the reed while maintaining the ligature's trademark design and grip. This makes all the difference for greater control, a more dynamic sound, and a richer tone.
Includes Handy OmniCap
The Silverstein ligature comes with an OmniCap that is small enough to fit in a confined case. The OmniCap secures and protects the delicate mouthpiece tip and reed, protects the mouthpiece rail, preserves the reed's moisture, and is easily washable and makes no sound when dropped.
