Features

The Pearl PFA-201 has many features that highight the quality of this instrument. The ergonomically designed mouthpiece for a comfortable feel in long performances and rehearsals. The flute features a core bar one piece construction for increased durability.The ergonomic and specially designed keys offer grip and comfort across the playing surface. The pinless mechanism prevents corrosion for long lasting durability. The pointed braces on the keys create a very strong and responsive key action. The swappable curved and straight headjoints enable you to play regardless of your size or playing preference.

Split E and offset G mechanisms

Designed with playability in mind, the flute's Split E mechanism allows you to play the difficult top E - typically a weak sounding and unreliable note - with far greater ease and consistency. The flute also has an Offset G key, which provides a more natural hand position, especially for younger or smaller players.

Curved headjoint

The Silver plated headjoint is curved to accommodate smaller hands, allowing younger learners to access all keys easily. The PFA-201ESU also comes supplied with a straight headjoint for later progression, ensuring that the instrument will remain with the player as they grow. Both headjoints feature a Sterling Silver lip plate and riser.
