Your monitors might sound transparent. Your furniture won't. Isolate your monitors with a Primacoustic RX9 Down Fire Recoil Stabiliser. By decoupling your near field monitor and the surface it sits on, you'll get a more accurate mix. It's that simple.



As well as isolating it, the RX9 stabilises your monitor and compensates for the mechanical movement of the driver. With a stable base less of the mechanical energy is wasted and more is focused into your sound. The result is more accurate stereo image localisation and enhanced low end clarity.

Three part design for one acoustic solution

Three precision engineered components make up each Primacoustic RX9 Down Fire Recoil Stabiliser, which each combine to give you a stable and isolated monitor base. At the bottom, a block of high density open cell acoustic foam forms the isolating buffer between surfaces and monitors. Above that the laser cut steel platform adds rigidity and mass to the base, making it very stable.

The curved front edge of the steel platform also helps to eliminate standing waves, keeping your sonic environment clearer. Finally, on top of the steel platform, a non slip neoprene layer eliminates the recoil of your speakers and focuses your sound.

Down fire applications

The down fire recoil stabiliser angles your monitor down by 5°. This makes it ideal for studios with fixed shelves just above the ideal listening spot. You can also place your monitors on top of tall meter bridges and angle them down with, making it easier to find the sweet spot in your studio. The down fire construction could eliminate the need for monitor stands.
