A range of new tools and enhanced features are included with the latest firmware update. One of the most exciting new features is the Sync Manager, Track Preview and the new BPM Detection algorithm. Transfer your songs with ease thanks to the fast and easy-to-use Sync Manager. Using these new windows allow you to create several Crates and Playlists which can be exported with a click.

The new and improved BPM Detection algorithm is faster than ever before, providing ultra-accurate results in the quickest time possible. Built from the scratch, the new algorithm provides BPM and beat grid downbeat placement for precision detection.

You can now also preview tracks when managing your favourite songs. Track Preview comes in the form of a new column which you can use to preview tracks on the fly, without having to load them onto a deck. As well as this, other new features include Deck Eject, Metadata batch edit and the ability to backup and restore locally.

Seven inch HD display with multi-touch screen

The Denon DJ SC5000 Prime Media Player is the ideal choice for any aspiring DJ and music enthusiast. The built-in 7-inch HD display features a multi-touch screen for fast and easy navigation of your audio files. The screen also displays all the vital information about your audio files including the file format, name of track, artist and much more. The DJ SC5000 Media Player is one of the first on the market to fully analyse both beatgrid and music key internally, delivering an unprecedented amount of information to the DJ.

The unit itself also features 8 multifunction trigger pads designed for triggering Cues, Loops, Slices, Rolls and more. The 8-inch rugged metal jog wheel features a HD central display and a customisable RGB colour for added flair. The multi-touch screen can work in conjunction with the new Engine Prime software that provides an innovative music library and analysis system that lets the user organise, categorise and import audio files with ease.

Versatile audio compatibility – play virtually any audio file

One of the most unique features of the Denon DJ SC5000 digital media player is its ability to play uncompressed audio formats including: FLAC, ALAC and WAV. Combined with the 24-bit/96kHz digital audio outputs, the Denon SC5000 provides unparalleled audio quality and performance. This allows you to deliver the best audio quality achievable, ensuring your crowd hears every nuance of the track as it was intended.

Also included is dual-layer playback with individual audio outputs, allowing you to utilise and travel with your music collection store on dual-layer discs for minimising the amount of equipment needed.

Sleek design with a wide range of connections

The Denon DJ SC5000 is compact and lightweight in design but retains all the functionality of the more expensive media players on the market. 3 USB connections and 1 SD input are included for music playback allowing you to play audio files directly from a USB flash drive or SD card, so you can bring a large chunk of your music collection with you.

A LAN output is also included allowing you to link up to four players simultaneously, ideal for the more advanced DJs. The LAN outputs offer music file, digital networking and communication capabilities for the most high-end events.

Stream music via built-in Wi-Fi

Choose between wired and wireless. With the new firmware update (version 1.5) the SC5000 possesses the ability stream music via TIDAL with support for Beatport, Beatsource, Soundcloud and more, coming soon via free updates. Traditionally, you’d need a computer to stream music, but with its standalone design, the SC6000 allows you to throw in your favourite tracks on the fly.

RANE SEVENTY-TWO Battle Mixer

Firmware version 1.2

The latest firmware update for the RANE SEVENTY-TWO provides a wide range of enhancements, upgrades and new features. The touchscreen has been updated to include pinch-to-zoom capabilities, waveform view, library view and startup view for added flexibility when navigating between songs. Pad and Performance Pad information is also now available on the touchscreen.

Time parameters of FX are now displayed in the bottom of the Touch FX screen, allowing you to adjust FX timing by selecting the time parameter display and turning the parameter knob. The Touch FX button now includes a tempo tap function for setting your BPM manually. You can also change the feedback level of the Mic Echo, as well as the mic sensitivity for precise ducking. Ultimate performance features

The RANE SEVENTY-TWO has been built in collaboration with champion DJs from all around the world to ensure they incorporate the much-needed features and technology for battle DJs. The SEVENTY-TWO offers a range of features designed for performance. Included are 16 backlit Akai Pro MPC performance pads (8 per channel) which offer adjustable threshold and aftertouch for remixing, mashing up tracks, and controlling loops on-the-fly. They also offer Serato control, plus special modes for Pad FX, Crossfader FX, Transport, Slicer, and video control.

Each channel features a dedicated low/high pass filter control, as well as chain-integrated Serato software effect control and dual FLEX FX engines, allowing you to control 2 effects simultaneously within Serato. The die-cast aluminium toggles allow you to control your FX in a new way, similar to using a modulation wheel on a keyboard. The mixer features a dual FX engine, allowing you to combine the internal effects with the Serato DJ effects.

Users can now experience RANE's brand-new MAG THREE fader. This is a new patented Mag Fader design offering a unique touchless, tension-adjustable fader with perfect tactile feel and precision, combined with durability and longevity.

The SEVENTY-TWO mixer features a solid steel construction, built for non-stop, heavy duty use. It has been designed for durability, so you can ensure the mixer always performs at its best, no matter how much you use it. Additionally, the RANE SEVENTY-TWO features steel protective roll bars that can also be used as handles for quick transport.

4.3-inch colour touchscreen

The 4.3-inch colour touchscreen is a new feature that not only offers a moving waveform display, but also X/Y FX control, allowing you to control your effects with precise finger movements. It also displays your tracks, allowing you to navigate through your songs and playlists quickly when performing. As well as this, the touchscreen also displays your cue points, allowing you to see when the best parts of the track are coming up.

Versatile connectivity

The SEVENTY-TWO mixer features all the essential connections needed for a professional club mixer. The mixer provides RCA phono and CD inputs for each deck, plus a main XLR out and balanced 1/4'' booth out, which allows the mixer to connect to decks/turntables and club monitoring systems. The mixer also features 2 mic inputs which feature duck and a custom echo for those crowd shoutouts and MC'ing. The dual USB ports make DJ changeovers a breeze.
