Key Features
The Doepfer A-190-8 is a Midi/USB to sync interface. It allows you to take a Midi input and control clocked modules such as sequencers, trigger dividers and more. The module is also useful for resetting and syncing LFOS or triggering envelope generators using a fixed clock rate.
The unit can receive Midi messages from either Midi input or Midi via USB. Clock outputs range from 96 pulses per measure to a single pulse at the start of each measure. There are other outputs also with specific functions too, such as 'Stop' which outputs a pulse when a Midi stop message is sent.
All this gives you a wide range of options for syncing your modular synthesizer to your Midi gear. This would be great for using a DAW to control your modular, or for syncing with a different synthesizer that doesn't offer CV outputs.

Want to get your modular bleeping in time to Midi devices? The A-190-8 might be your answer.
It converts Midi clock messages into sync signals for clocked modules. So if you've got a cool track going in your DAW, you can record your modular in time by using this module. Or link your system to other Midi devices, like synthesizers and drum machines, and build a formidable live rig.
There are plenty of options for configuration. For example, you'll find multiple clock divisions from 96 pulses per measure, to a single pulse per measure. So you can send a clock signal to all kinds of modules - from sequencers to LFOs.
