It's a road warrior. This beastly bass has rocked out at countless gigs and got the scars to prove it. Or at least, the Custom Shop have made it seem like it! Through their Heavy Relic finish, you're not just getting an expertly made bass, but one that has been artificially aged to give you the benefits of a guitar that's been around for a while. And, of course, it looks jaw-droppingly stunning, so there's that, too.
Precision pickup
Fifties looks, fifties sounds. It's got the refined sonics to match its aged appearance, all thanks to Fender's custom, hand-wound '58 Precision Bass pickup. Taking all the hard work out of recreating those pure '58 tones, this pickup hums with a defined, filled-out low end. Together with a rounded mid-section and smoothed out highs, you'll master any song with a vintage flair. Together with its simple master volume and tone controls, it's extremely easy to roll in the exact sound you need.
An all-maple neck and fretboard

Backing up your riffing is the quartersawn neck. Shaped just like the originals in a '57 soft "V" profile, it's comfortable, authentic, and so simple to grasp. In addition to its correct shape, the nitrocellulose lacquer ensures a silky, vintage feel. It's buffed down to a smooth, frictionless level so you can fire around the neck at top speed. And finally, if all that wasn't quite enough, this is neck that's going to withstand anything. The quartersawn milling grants it astounding resistance to bowing, bending, warping and cracking, so get gigging straight away!
