The original model was created in celebration of Marshall’s 50th anniversary and was due to be up for retail in that year only. However, it was brought back as a reissue in 2015 due to popular demand. Truly shows how much musicians love the 2536.
This model comes equipped with two twelve-inch Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. This style was originally designed to meets the needs of players with increasingly hot rodded amplifiers, built to handle excessive amounts of power and overdrive. Thanks to their ‘H’ magnet and new cone, these speakers deliver enormous detail and complex overtones, injecting your performance with warm lows, rich mids, and beautifully detailed highs. This sound has been captured on a multitude of recordings throughout the years, featured on songs by the likeness of Slash, Steve Stevens, and Peter Framton.
