The Fender CC-60S Concert Acoustic features a solid spruce top, which produces a bright, articulate sound that only gets better with age and the more it is played. Its solid spruce top adds a rich, full-bodied tone to the guitar whilst delivering a broad dynamic range. The Fender's solid spruce top also offers a versatile response to a wide variety of playing styles. Additionally, the solid top is attached to laminated mahogany back and sides which are less susceptible to warping than solid wood within environment changes. These strong, durable back and sides also add warmth and resonance to the guitar's tone, creating a traditional and familiar acoustic sound.
Constructed from mahogany, the CC-60S's neck adds warmth and resonance to the guitar's sound whilst offering a quick and dynamic response. Mahogany's nature allows it to respond greatly to a wide variety of techniques and styles. Additionally, the neck also features Fender's easy-to-play neck profile with rolled fingerboard edges for added comfort and easier playability. The neck's easy-to-play profile is also perfect for new and developing players craving comfort throughout long practice sessions. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a walnut fingerboard which adds balance and warmth to the guitar's sound whilst providing a smooth platform for the right hand.
With its more compact concert body, the Fender CC-60S not only offers comfortable playability, it also offers great volume and projection. Larger in size than a parlour guitar, and smaller in size than traditional dreadnoughts, the Fender CC-60S is still able to project a wide tonal frequency range with excellent sonic balance and response. Additionally, the concert body is able to accommodate a wide variety of genres with ease, but is particularly well-suited to fingerpicking styles.
