The Sensory Percussion drum sensors are sleek, durable and sensitive. They are designed to work on almost any snare, tom, or kick drum and function on both acoustic and mesh heads. They pick up the signal from the drumhead via a small sticker (pickup element) applied directly to the surface of the drumhead and offer 10 sensor zones per sensor, per drum. Speed, velocity and timbre are accurately tracked with every stroke in order to make even the craziest effects possible such as a soft hit emitting one sound and a harder hit emitting another. Despite their sleek design, the sensors are still well and truly situated in the landing zone, that's why they are made to be extremely durable for the accidental, but inevitable stick hits from time to time.
