Key Features
The Cwejman BLD Bass and Drum Module is a bass-lead and drum generator with a particular focus on bass drum sounds. With its extensive features and components the BLD allows you to craft a range of bass, lead and drum sounds. Included within the module is a main sound generator (oscillator) with 2 manual pitch controllers, low pass filter, noise generator, two transient generators all with attenuators for adjusting parameters. The Cwejman BLD module also allows the pitch, cutoff, transient times and amplitude to be controlled by external signals. The BLD module offers a wide palette of sounds ranging from kicks, snare, percussive, acid style bass, FM leads and many more.

The Cwejman BLD Bass and Drum Module is a powerful sound generator that can produce a vast array of bass, lead and drum sounds that can be pitched. Its oscillator offers pitch control with 2 manual controllers; FINE and COARSE, as well as two inputs for controlling pitch by external signals. In the oscillator section you can also control the FM1 level. The FM1 input is a leveled bi-polar frequency modulation input and FM2 is calibrated to 1V/octave so it will track your keyboard perfectly when playing. The BLD Bass and Drum Module is fitted with 3 different waveforms for you to choose from including triangle, square and saw. A convenient feature on the BLD is that instead of suddenly switching between the waveforms, you can actually mix between them with the attenuators to provide a smoother switch creating more potential for different sounds. There is also a pulse width attenuator for the square wave as well. Experiment with mixing between triangle and square, and square and saw to produce various sounds. Also featured on the oscillator section of the Cwejman BLD is a manual trigger button that can be pushed to generate the sound. This means that there is no need to plug any external devices in to produce a sound as the BLD Bass and Drum Module will produce it. This is an ideal way to craft your sound first and then patch in a sequencer to play a melody.
As well as using the oscillator for creating a sound you can also use the filter that is featured on the BLD to remove high frequencies for a bass sound for example. It features a cutoff frequency attenuator and Q-peak for resonance control. Below that however, there is another cutoff attenuator for setting the level of the envelope for the filter. These envelopes can also be individually adjusted as well. On this attenuator you also have a choice between two envelopes; AH (attack, hold) and AHR (attack, hold, release). This attenuator allows you to set the level of the envelope and determine which envelope is going to affect the filter. The envelopes range between 0.5ms to 2s on the attack and hold, whilst the release can go up to 20s providing you with short and long enough times to build your sound.
