Shape your sound
Thanks to the inclusion of two-coloured LEDs on the knobs and sliders you'll be able to instantly see the relationships that exist between each operator and the role they play in determining the algorithm. By adjusting these controls you'll be free to manipulate the pitch and volume of each carrier, as well as increase, or decrease the strength of the modulator's harmonics. These buttons provide you with control over the unpredictable nature of FM synthesis.
Comprehensive editing possibilities
The data editing knobs serve to empower you with comprehensive editing possibilities. If six operator mixers isn't enough to satisfy you then you'll be pleased to know that the Opsix boasts an additional seven knobs located on the right hand side of the stylish, black interface. Straight to the point, everything you need is in one handy place. Don't waste time navigating through mundane menus to adjust one minor aspect. The handy OLED display gives you a concise overview of your sound via the six digital parameters and rotary encoders.
Think outside the box
Generate sounds outside the realm of traditional FM synthesis by utilising the on-board operator modes. This function enables you to sculpt your own sounds by using various forms of modulation. Combine a generous total of five operator modes (FM, ring modulation, filter, filter FM and wavefolder) with your preferred waveform to create the sounds that exist within your head.
Effects galore
Compression, chorus, reverb, distortion, rotary effects. You name it, the Opsix has it. The highly powerful synthesizer provides you with 30 studio-grade effects, three of which can be used simultaneously to achieve any sound that your heart desires. Thanks to their comprehensive nature, it'll feel like no sound is out of reach.
It's the subtleties
At the bottom right hand side of the panel lies 16 "glow green" buttons. These serve to provide you with a 16-step sequencer. Each step allows you to record up to six notes and adjust the velocity, gate and playback time of each note. Whether you aim to create extended phrases or tweak the subtlest of nuances to mimic strums or string rolls. The Opsix allows you to achieve effects that were not thought possible in sequencing. From smooth rhythms to dynamic builds, the choice is yours.
Stuck in a creative rut? Need some help?
Hit randomize. This die shaped icon will automatically generate a new sound out of thin air. Whether you want a completely fresh outlook, or simply one aspect adjusted, the Opsix is able to accommodate to your every want and need. Who knows? Your very own signature sound could only be a roll of the dice away!
