Blackjack Tempest

The Schecter Blackjack Tempest has a versatile pickup set and fast playing neck specification to deliver a versatile range of metal-oriented tones with effortless playability. The mahogany body and neck lends warmth and resonance to your sound with plenty of sustain. Schecter has honed this guitar for metal and rock with an instrument that offers clarity, power, and no barriers to your playing technique.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

The Seymour Duncan Nazgul bridge pickup is a ceramic based unit that provides the perfect blend of note articulation, saturation and pick attack. It has a full range of harmonic content and low-end response, giving you the ideal pickup for high-gain riffing.

The Sentient neck pickup is a low-medium output humbucker that has the versatility to deliver crystal clean sounds through to fluid and sustaining lead tones. The output level of the Sentient and its passive design means it has great nuance and works well in the neck position for a balanced and versatile tonal output.

These two pickups give the Blackjack Tempest Passive a very versatile tonal output. Being focussed on metal performance, the pickups can create searing high gain tones with ease. They also have the potential to create nuanced clean sounds giving you a wide tonal range to explore. Fast Neck Specification

The Blackjack Tempest has a modern neck specification geared towards fast playing. It has a thin 'C' profile that sits comfortably in the hand and a set-neck joint with a low-profile joint. The set-neck "Ultra Access" design and double cutaway body allows you to easily access the whole length of the fingerboard with ease.

The neck is mounted with 24 extra-jumbo frets to provide excellent control of the strings when playing string bends and vibrato. The frets are fixed with a modern compound radius, giving you the perfect balance between low-fret chordal comfort (with a more rounded radius) and high-fret playability (with a flatter radius).
