Product Ref: 106266
The Ibanez SA Guitar features a lightweight mahogany body with elegant contours and a smooth design, creating an incredibly comfortable instrument with sweet, warm tonal characteristics. As well as appearance, the Ibanez also features a double-cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets to deliver incredible flexibility across the entire fingerboard.
Along with its smooth designed and fast playing experience, the neck’s maple construction provides a beautifully bright characteristic, creating a snappy attack in the midrange with a sizzling high end. The fingerboard is crafted from treated New Zealand pine, offering a smooth performance and a broad dynamic range. The treated condition of the pine helps bring out its natural fundamentals while enhancing its lifespan. It’s bound edges also allow for a smooth play and fluid hand flexibility across the whole neck.
The Ibanez SA Series Guitar is equipped with their unique true Duo Bucker at the bridge, offering a triple-coil construction to deliver true humbucking and single-coil tones which can be accessed via the push/pull volume pot. The set of single-coil quantum pickups offer a crisp treble response with a smooth middle and a firm bass. In addition, these pickups also offer a precise high-end articulation, ideal for rock and metal players.
The SAT Pro II Tremolo is a versatile and high performance non-locking, floating tremolo. With floating suspension located to the back of the Ibanez, the SAT Pro II Tremolo can create a range of vibrato and dynamic sounds and accents. Due to the lack of a locking nut, the SA360 retains a traditional set up style to allow quick and simple tuning adjustments to be made with the machine heads.
Over the past 30 years, Ibanez Guitars have always been at the forefront of developing the right tools for electric guitar players pushing the boundaries of music. For decades, Ibanez designers and luthiers have been the embodiment of this ideology, pushing their skills to the edge of imagination, consistently creating some of the most versatile and unique instruments ever. Although Ibanez guitars have been made since 1908, it wasn't until the late 1980s that they began to form an identity for themselves when artists such as Steve Vai and Frank Zappa began using their instruments. Now with a huge artist clientele across the globe, Ibanez are a leading manufacturer of electric guitars and basses and a first choice for many dedicated musicians.
