The EVO 1 guitar amp head is equipped with two channels, each featuring 6 different amp tones to choose from. Channel 1 is a passive input, designed to work best with passive electronics, while channel 2 is an active input, designed to work best with active electronics. Each of the amp models are designed after legendary amps, creating an incredibly versatile amp head. Channel 1’s amp tones range from the clean Darkface ’65, Marigold, Top 30, and Triple 6 CH1 models, to the crunching tones of the Rock ’75, and the Ecstasy. Channel 2 features the crunching tones of a Triple 6 BH2, Slodrive CH2, and Jcmark models, to the powerful lead sounds of the Maragold, Slodrive CH3, and Recto models.
Along with its selection of powerful amp tones, the EVO 1 guitar amp head features a range of powerful controls to shape the perfect tone for any playing style. Both channels feature separate gain, level, reverb, and 3-band EQ control knobs, ensuring players can find the perfect sound for both channels. The master control adjusts the amp heads output level, while the boost controls the amount the output the boost will produce. Just like the amp tones, the channels reverb can be changed via the EVO 1 software, with the option to adjust parameters to suit your playing style.
The EVO 1 software allows players to personally customise their EVO 1 guitar amp head to ensure the perfect tone for their playing style. Simply download the software from the DV Mark website and connect the amp head to swap out the six amp tones on each channel. The software also allows players to choose the type of reverb each channel has, and offers adjustable parameters for further tone shaping. Another feature is the ability to choose a preferred virtual cab/speaker emulator for the XLR line out.
