Canadian Wild Cherry Body

The small Seagull Grand body shape, similar to the classic Parlor profile, produces a balanced and intimate tone best suited to fingerstyle playing. Its top, back and sides are all made from a 3-layer lamination of Canadian Wild Cherry, giving it a dark and full-sounding midrange, between that of Rosewood and Mahogany.

Ergonomic Maple Neck

The guitar's ergonomic Silver Leaf Maple neck features a slimmer nut width of 1.72'', which provides a faster, more traditional feel compared to the standard Seagull nut width of 1.8''. The neck's integrated set construction provides stability and prevent twisting or warping, even in difficult climates, while the tapered headstock is designed to provide a straight string pull, ensuring greater ease and consistency of tuning. The guitar also features Seagull's innovative Double Function Truss Rod. Unlike most conventional truss rods, this rod is able to bend in both directions, providing greater ease of adjustment for correcting both under- and over-bowed necks.

Custom Polished Finish

The guitar is coated with a thin custom polished finish, which provides the necessary resistance to wear and tear without being thick enough to deaden the wood's natural sound. Buffed and sanded between each coat, the semi-gloss finish gives the guitar a gorgeous satin sheen.
