The top right and left corners of the face plate have the Pearl logo indicating the string location for maximum bass response. The rear sound hole mixes the internal sound with the attack of the face plate.
Four individually tunable strings act as snares across the face plate offering a wide response tone. The Pearl Elite Cajon is constructed with 100% Thai Oak with triangle bracing around the sound hole for strength and durability.
