The hollow wooden body is fitted with internal snare wires to produce a crisp snare drum sound which responds with just a tap from your hands or a stick. This snapping percussive sounds accurately mimics that of an authentic snare drum sound.
The Meinl Percussion Pickup Cajon Snare Tap can be played acoustically in a small room or plugged into an amp or PA system via the quarter-inch output jack for additional amplification. When amplified, the volume can be adjusted using the volume knobs on the side of the snare tap.
