The Evans Genera Coated Snare Drum Head, 12'' features a 10mil single-ply film, allowing for open and expressive tones from any snare drum. To create a more focused sound, the Genera Coated has a 2mil overtone control ring that 'floats' underneath the head, reducing the mid-frequency resonances from protruding too much. The mixture of an open film with a control ring produces a musical, focused, yet articulate tone.


Incorporating Evans Level 360 Technology, the entire head is playable, whilst the vertically enhanced collar design sits flush with the shells bearing edge, transferring the heads energy to the shell and pulling out as much tone as possible. Ideal for those looking for a solid, controlled but expressive tone. Please note: Drum not included.
